Bird News Tuesday 15th March

4 Med Gulls were on the tern raft at Belfast Lough RSPB WOW Reserve this afternoon. (Kevin Kirkham-Brown)

The fem/imm Smew was still at Lough Beg. Some spring passage included 64 Shoveler, 22 Pintail, 800 Black-tailed Godwit and 25 Ruff (David Steele)

Two Long-tailed Duck were off Carrickfergus Castle (Gerard McGeehan).
