Bird News Thursday 11th February

The Black Redstart was still at Newcastle Harbour. 2 Red Kites were at Murlough Nature Reserve, County Down (Christine Cassidy & Lindsay Hodges)

The Spoonbill was at the Linekiln, Castle Espie. 40 Grey Plover were also present.

A second-winter Mediterranean Gull and 20 Twite were at the boat compound in Whitehead (Cameron Moore)

The adult Mediterranean Gull was seen again along the seafront in Newcastle (Leonard Charles)
