Bird News Monday 25th January

A Great White Egret was in flooded fields below the bridge at Caledon, Co Tyrone (Irish Birding)

A Barn Owl was on the Moy to Portadown Road, near Scotch Street at 11pm last night (Dennis Lavery)

Yesterday 24 Pintail were at Portmore Lough and 2 Red Kites are seen regularly now round Moria, commonly from the M1. (Deb and Ralph Wooderson)

Also reported yesterday was the female Smew still present on Drumgay lough, Co Ferm. (Mark Stewart)
