St John’s Point, between 0700 and 08.30: 2 Tree Pipits (calling, high, 15 minutes apart), 100 Meadow Pipits, 6 Rock Pipits, 100 Linnets, 15 Goldfinches, 7 Tree Sparrows, 20 Skylarks, 1 White Wagtail, 4 Pied Wagtails, 7 Stonechats, 3 Wheatears, 4 Snipe, 1 Golden Plover, and 1 Little Egret; Kelly’s Wood: 2 Spotted Flycatchers, 2-3 Blackcaps, 2 Chiffchaffs, 1 Willow Warbler, 2 Goldcrests (Chris Murphy)
