Bird News Thursday 30th July

3 Garganey, an eclipse male and 2 'female types' were at Reedy Flats on the south shore of Lough Neagh. (David Knight).

On Tuesday at least 600 Sanderling were at Magilligan, Lough Foyle. (Clive Mellon/Dave Allen).

The fields at Holme Bay near Killyleagh had 200 Skylark/Goldfimch, 100 Linnet with some Twite and 30 Greenfinch (Spencer and Joan Marshall).

3 Peregrine were at Cookstown, Co. Tyrone (Tony McCormick).
