Bird News Tuesday 6th January

The Little Egret was still in Orangefield Park today along the Knock River, east Belfast. (Robert Scott)

A Winter Thrush Survey between Scarva and Loughbrickland produced 41 Fieldfare, and 10 Redwing (Fulton Sommerville)

Today on Benbradagh mountain, Dungiven there were approx 25 Golden plover, 5 raven, Buzzard and a single Snow Bunting which flew onto the laneway. (Peter McAllister/Donna Rainey)

On Saturday past (3rd) there were 33 Snow Bunting on Benbradagh mountain. Seen by Donna Rainey.
