Bird News Thursday 14th November.

The Spoonbill has been re-located at Castle Espie nature reserve. It was feeding on the river off the Mongomery hide.   (Kerry Mackie)

 Slightly further afield... A trip to Co Louth included, between Beltray and Blackrock
Beltray and Strand. An ad Little Stint, Bar-tailed Godwit, Buzzard, 100 Common Scoter, 100 Sanderling,60 Grey Plover, a Lesser black-backed Gull, 1 Red-breasted Merganser. 100 Brent Geese. Port Oriel had 5 Red-throated Divers, 2 Great Crested Grebe 20 Common Scoter, 6 Guillemot. Cruisetown Strand, good numbers of Brent, 600 Scoter, 100 Whooper in field opposite Port Beach car park.(F.Somerville/M.Richardson/J.Whitla)
