Bird News Thurs.21st February.

48 Waxwing were at the Antrim Area Hosptial, they were feeding on cotoneaster nr Fern House. They have been there for a few days now.(S.McWilliams)

A second-winter Mediterranean Gull was at Whiteabbey on the Antrim side of Belfast Lough (Stuart McKee).

The Little Egret was still near McDonalds in Dundonald (Tony McCormick). Probably the same was also seen in flight over Summerhill Avenue (Lowell Mills)

100+Fieldfare/Redwing (mostly Redwing)  were feeding in a corner of Aghacommon Embankment and Ballyneery North Rd, Derrymacash.(B.Campbell / P.Flowerday) 

The Little Egret was still at victoria Park (Gilly Irwin)

A Brambling was still visiting a garden at Knock (Lindsay Hodges)

David McCormack seen a Common Gull at Millisle to-day with a blue ring, anyone with information on where it was ringed contact the blog.
