Bird News for Wednesday 10th October

 A Curlew Sandpiper and a pair of Gadwall were at the Barmouth Co.L'derry. 5 Buzzard, a Merlin, 107 Whooper Swan and a Little Egret were around the Lough Foyle, Seacoast Rd area.(C.Cassidy/T.Campbell)

At Larne Lough a male Goosander, 2 Whooper Swan, 11 Little Egret and 2 Greenshank were one mile north of Ballycarry Bridge (Cameron Moore).

In south Down 3 Redwing, a Kingfisher, 2 Little Grebe, 10 Greenshank, 26 Turnstone, a Peregrine Falcon, 2 Buzzard, a Kestrel, 50 Linnet, a few Greenfinch and 6 Little Egret were at Dundrum Inner Bay South (Dot Blakely).

6 Swallow were at Coleraine (Derek Polley).

A Kingfisher was at the small pool beside Castle Espie (Francis Duffin).
