Bird News Tuesday 14th August

A female Garganey, 2 Whimbrel, 2 Ruff, 3 Common Sandpiper, a Greenshank, Buzzard and Sparrowhawk were at Belfast Harbour Lagoon (Joe Lamont)

A Little Gull was still at RSPB Belfast (Stephen Maxwell)

Two Reed Warbler were seen at Oxford Island (Paul Scott)

The second summer Ring-billed Gull remains at Groomsport.

Yesterday 2 Great Skua were close to the Helly Hunter Buoy at the mouth of Carlingford Lough.
