Bird News Monday 23rd July

In 'dire' conditions, two Little Gulls were still present this afternoon at RSPB Belfast Harbour Reserve. 9 Common Sandpipers were also seen and 4 Knot still present. (Norman Milligan)

The Ring-billed Gull was also still present at Groomsport (Alistair Prentice)

The juvenile Great Spotted Woodpecker (probably a male) was seen again in a garden at Aghnaleck near Banbridge (Garry Wilkinson)
