Bird News Friday 6th May

White Stork
A White Stork has been reported from Castlerock. It is in a field on Glebe Road 500m west of the trout farm. It roosted on a local barn roof last night. (Irish Birding).

The White Stork took off at 10.00a.m. and headed towards Coleraine. (Mervyn Guthrie)


A female or immature Marsh Harrier flew northeast just north of Elliott's Hill at
4.30pm. It was just to the north of the wind farm. (Clive Mellon).
