Bird News Tuesday 4th January

The adult Snow Goose was with 4 Pink Feet and 200 Greylags in the fields north of Greyabbey. (George Gordon).

A Waxwing was feeding on apples in a garden at Woodcroft Heights in Ballymena. (Richard Grey).

9 Bramblings were in a garden in Whitehead and an adult Mediterranean Gull along the seafront near the yacht club. 3 Bramblings were in a garden at Ballystruder on Islandmagee. (Cameron Moore).

7 Long Tailed Tits were in a garden in Killyleagh and a Kestrel and Buzzard along the Comber Road. The junction of the Castle Island and Strangford Roads (on the way down to the Quoile Pondage) had a large flock of Chaffinch with 2 Yellowhammer. Coal, Great and Blue Tits. 6 Brambling and a Blackcap were in a garden in Ballyholme, Bangor.
